A thin phone needs a thin case

The S25 Edge is 5.8 millimetres thick. That is the reason to own one, and it is remarkably easy to undo. Put a standard rugged case on it and you end up with a phone thicker than an S25 Plus, with a smaller battery and a simpler camera every trade-off you accepted, and none of the benefit you paid for.

That is why most of the range here is ultra-thin soft TPU rather than armoured. The Crystal Series cases add minimal thickness while still covering the corners and edges, which on a titanium-framed phone is the sensible balance. If you wanted maximum protection you would not have bought the Edge.

Magnetic or not: the choice that matters here

Two of the cases on this page are the same Crystal Series ultra-thin TPU one at $25 without magnets, one at $35 with. On an iPhone that would be cosmetic. On a Galaxy it is not, because the magnet array sits in the case rather than the handset. Choose the plain version and the phone charges on a flat wireless pad and nothing else: no magnetic car mount, no snap-on accessories.

On this model in particular, that decision has a second consequence. A 5.8mm body leaves less room for battery than the Plus or Ultra, which is the known trade-off of the Edge. The neatest answer is a magnetic power bank that snaps to the back and comes off in a second no cable, no bulk when you do not need it. But that only works if your case carries the magnets. For $10 more, the magnetic version buys you that option.

Leather, if you want to carry cards

The Hanman Mill Series at $25 is the wallet option: three card slots, a dedicated coin compartment in the lining, and a magnetic closure. The flip cover also protects the screen directly rather than relying on a raised lip, which suits a phone with this much glass and this little frame to work with. It adds more bulk than the TPU cases, but it replaces your wallet, so the net volume you carry often goes down rather than up.

Getting the model right

The S25 Edge shares a 6.7-inch screen size with the S25 Plus but is a completely different body thinner, lighter, and with a different camera housing. Their cases do not cross over in either direction, and neither does anything cut for the S25 or S25 Ultra. Check under Settings > About phone and match the exact name including Edge before ordering.
