The iPhone 16 Plus runs a 6.7-inch display more glass than the standard 16 or the 16 Pro, and a costly panel to replace. That size is the whole argument for a protector on this model. Do not assume a 16 Pro Max protector will fit. Both are the large option in their tier, and people conflate them constantly, but the Pro Max is 6.9 inches and the two do not cross over. Privacy glass narrows the viewing angle so the screen darkens for anyone beside you, useful on public transport or in an open-plan office. All are 9H hardness and priced between $25 and $30.

Two lenses, not three

The 16 Plus carries a dual camera in a vertical arrangement rather than the triple array on the Pro models, so its lens covers are a different part and cost less. They are still worth adding. The lenses sit proud of the body, which means the camera glass takes the contact every time you set the phone face-up on a table, and a cracked rear lens degrades every photo until it is repaired.
