iPhone 13 Pro Cases

Make sure it is a 13 Pro, not a 13 or a 14 Pro

Three 6.1-inch iPhones sit close together, and the 13 Pro is in the middle of them. The standard iPhone 13 is the same size but carries a dual camera rather than a triple, so that one is easy to rule out at a glance.

The iPhone 14 Pro is the difficult one. Same size, same triple array, same stainless steel frame, same Lightning port the two are almost indistinguishable in the hand. What separates them is the camera bump: the 14 Pro moved to a 48-megapixel main sensor and the housing grew with it. A 13 Pro case will not close around a 14 Pro, and a 14 Pro case leaves a gap on a 13. Check under Settings > General > About rather than going by appearance.

Leather wallet cases for the 13 Pro

The cases here are leather wallet designs, starting at $30. Each carries card slots so you can leave your wallet behind, a magnetic closure to keep the cover shut, and a flip front that cushions the screen in a fall a genuine advantage over a back-only case on a phone with a flat glass face.

The leather itself is oil and stain resistant and repels fingerprints, so it keeps its appearance rather than picking up marks the way untreated leather does. If you carry more than a couple of cards, look at the dual-wallet designs in the wider Hanman range, which hold up to six along with a dedicated coin compartment.

MagSafe on the 13 Pro

The 13 Pro has MagSafe magnets built into the handset, so it will snap to a magnetic charger, car mount or power bank provided the case carries a matching ring. A leather folio without one still charges on a flat pad, but it will not hold on a mount. If you rely on a magnetic car mount, check the case description for a magnet array before ordering, or choose a two-piece design where the shell detaches and can be mounted on its own.

Why this phone is still worth a good case

The 13 Pro was the first iPhone with a 120Hz ProMotion display, and it remains a capable handset five years on. Screen replacement on a Pro model is expensive enough that a case and a protector together still cost a fraction of one repair, which is the whole argument for spending $30 on a phone you have already owned for years.
