A wallet case you can take apart

The Hanman Miro is built as two pieces rather than one. A slim inner shell holds the phone and clips into the leather folio with magnets. Carry the whole thing when you want your cards, or pull the shell free and leave the wallet behind. Most wallet cases force that decision once, at the checkout; this one leaves it open every morning.

It also solves the charging problem every one-piece folio has. Cards sitting between the phone and a wireless charger block it completely, so a fixed wallet case has to come off each time you charge. Separate the Miro and the cards stay in the folio, out of the way.

The shell is what makes your S23 magnetic

This matters more on Galaxy than it would on an iPhone. Apple builds a magnet ring into the handset, so any case passes it through. Samsung does not the S23 has no magnets of its own, and a standard case leaves you with flat-pad wireless charging and nothing else.

The Miro's inner shell carries its own magnet array. Detached from the folio it becomes a slim magnetic case, so the phone will snap onto a magnetic car mount, hold a magnetic power bank on the back, or self-align on a wireless charger. You get the wallet and the magnetic mounting from one purchase, which is unusual at this price.

Do not assume an S24 case will fit

The S23 and S24 are the closest pair in the Samsung range. Both are the compact flagship of their generation, both have a flat display, both run a triple camera in the same vertical arrangement, and they are roughly a millimetre apart in height. You cannot see the difference, and you will not notice until the case is on and the cutouts sit low.

Check under Settings > About phone and match the exact name. The S23 Plus and S23 Ultra are different bodies again, so a listing claiming to fit "the S23 series" generally means the base model only.

Leather on a compact phone

At 6.1 inches the S23 is small enough that a folio adds less relative bulk than it would on a Plus or Ultra, and the cover protects the display directly rather than relying on a raised lip the more reliable arrangement in a face-down drop. The leather is oil and stain resistant and repels fingerprints, so it holds its appearance rather than marking the way untreated leather does.
