Samsung Galaxy S24 Cases

Four cases, four clear choices

A short range, but each option does something distinct, so the decision is usually quick.

The Mecury Ultra Slim Soft Feeling TPU at $25 keeps the phone the size it is. The Mercury Goospery Blue Moon Diary at the same price is the wallet folio card slots inside, a cover that folds over the screen, and a fold-out stand. The Youdun Series Matte Finish at $35 adds a magnet array under a matte back that resists fingerprints. The Scott Plus Series at $45 is the shockproof option, with a raised camera bezel and a nano-coated surface.

So: minimum bulk, cards, magnetic mounting, or maximum protection. Those are genuinely different answers rather than four versions of the same case.

Keep it slim on the compact flagship

At 6.2 inches the S24 is the Galaxy you can still use one-handed, and for most owners that is exactly why they chose it over the Plus or the Ultra. A thick armoured case gives that away you end up carrying something Plus-sized with a smaller screen and a smaller battery behind it.

That makes the slim options worth more here than they would be on a larger handset. The Scott Plus is there when you genuinely need the protection, but if the S24's size is the point, the ultra-slim TPU is the case that respects it.

Magnetic mounting works differently on Galaxy

Worth knowing before you choose, because it is the opposite of iPhone. Apple builds a magnet ring into the handset, so any case passes it through. Samsung does not the magnets sit in the case.

Your S24 will charge on a flat wireless pad whatever case you use. But a magnetic car mount, a snap-on power bank or a self-aligning charger only works if the case carries its own magnet array. Here that means the Youdun or the Scott Plus. The two $25 options have no magnets, and there is no adding it later except with a stick-on ring that drifts off-centre over time. If you mount your phone in the car, start your choice there rather than treating it as a bonus feature.

Do not assume an S23 case will fit

The S23 and S24 are the closest pair in the Samsung range. Both are the compact flagship of their generation, both have a flat display, both run a triple camera in the same vertical arrangement, and the S23 is 6.1 inches against the S24's 6.2. That is about a millimetre of height invisible until the case is on and the cutouts sit low.

Check under Settings > About phone and match the exact name. The S24 Plus, S24 Ultra and S24 FE are different bodies again, so a listing claiming to fit "the S24 series" usually means the base model only.
