Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Cases

Why FE cases are harder to find

If finding an S24 FE case has been harder than you expected, that is not your imagination. Case makers build for the flagships first the Ultra, the Plus, the standard S24 and Fan Edition models get a fraction of the attention despite selling well. The FE also has its own dimensions and camera housing, so nothing cut for another S24 fits it.

That is worth knowing before you buy from a marketplace listing. A case described as fitting "the S24 series" almost always means the standard, Plus and Ultra, not the FE. Check under Settings > About phone and match the exact name including FE.

The clear shockproof case

The case we carry for this model is a soft TPU shockproof clear case at $20 the lowest price in our Samsung range, and a sensible match for the phone. The FE exists because you wanted flagship features without the flagship price, and that logic does not stop at the handset.

Soft TPU does the job most people actually need from a case. It absorbs impact rather than transmitting it, flexes on and off without stressing the frame, and the reinforced corners take the hit in the most common kind of fall. Transparent construction also keeps the phone's own colour visible, which matters on the FE range where the finishes are a reason people choose it.

One thing to check on any clear case: anti-yellowing construction. Untreated TPU turns amber within a few months and faster under New Zealand sun. It shows more on a clear case than anywhere else, and it is the usual reason people replace one.

Magnetic accessories on the S24 FE

Worth understanding, because Galaxy works differently from iPhone. Apple builds a magnet ring into the handset so any case passes it through. Samsung puts the magnets in the case. The S24 FE will charge on a standard flat wireless pad, but it will not snap onto a magnetic car mount, a magnetic power bank or a self-aligning charger unless the case carries its own magnet array.

This clear case does not. If magnetic mounting is important to you, the practical route is a separate stick-on magnetic ring fitted to the flat back of the case it works, though adhesive rings drift off-centre over time.
