Two cases, same price, different jobs

Both options here are $25, so the decision is about what you want the case to do rather than what you want to spend.

The Mecury Ultra Slim Soft Feeling TPU is the quiet one. Soft-touch finish, minimal added thickness, enough edge coverage for everyday knocks and desk slides. If you want the phone protected without noticing the case, this is it.

The Kinglink Magnetic Ring Kickstand does considerably more for the same money. The ring folds out into a stand for hands-free video, doubles as a finger loop so you can hold a 6.5-inch phone securely in one hand, and acts as a mount point for a magnetic car holder. Three functions from one piece of hardware, which is unusual at this price.

Magnetic mounting on the S20 FE

Worth understanding, because Galaxy differs from iPhone here. Apple builds a magnet ring into the handset so any case passes it through. Samsung does not, and the S20 FE has no magnets of its own.

That is what makes the Kinglink the more practical choice if you mount your phone in the car. The ring gives you a physical attachment point that works with magnetic and clamp-style holders alike, rather than relying on magnets the phone does not have. The slim TPU case has no such provision, so with it fitted you are limited to flat-pad wireless charging and a cradle mount.

Do not buy an S21 FE case

These two get confused more than almost any other Samsung pair, because they are consecutive Fan Edition models and look broadly similar at a glance. They are not interchangeable Samsung changed the camera housing between generations, so the cutouts do not line up, and the body dimensions differ as well.

Check under Settings > About phone and look for the year or the exact model string before ordering. Listings offering to fit "the S20 series" generally mean the standard S20, Plus and Ultra, none of which share a case with the FE either.

Worth protecting after five years

The S20 FE launched in 2020 and plenty are still in daily service. At this stage a case is keeping a working phone running rather than preserving a new one, and that shifts what matters.

A raised lip around the screen is the single most useful feature it is what keeps the glass off the ground in a face-down drop, and screen repair on a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel still costs more than most people want to spend on a handset this age. Grip is the other consideration, which is where both of these earn their place: soft-touch TPU on one, a finger ring on the other, against a plastic back that offers neither.
